Q1: Please introduce your education background.

-Can you tell me about your education background?
-Which school did you graduate from? What was your major?/What major did you study?/What did you major in?

[Possible Answer]: I graduated from the Southwest University of Nationality in July two thousand and three. My major was computer network and technology. After graduated from college,I joined in Huawei Company.

Q2: Tell me your work experience.

Where did you work before?

[Possible Answer]: I joined in our company in July two thousand and three. Up to now, I’ve been working here for almost ten years. I always in charge of after-sale core network technology support. During the period, I took charge of core network maintenance and some construction projects. For example, software upgrade, software commissioning, equipment health check, project technical management, network cutover, key event assurance service, network optimization and other customer support services.

In January two thousand and four, I was sent to Lhasa in Tibet. It was winter when I just got there. The weather was the coldest and driest in a year by then. My nose always bled due to the cold and dry air. But later I got used to that.

The high altitude in Lhasa caused headache and this only lasted for several days. The toughest time–maybe you don’t believe-was a few days around the Spring Festival in two thousand and four. It was my first time to spend the Spring Festival out of home. The water pipes were all frozen, so no one could get liquid water. Moreover, nobody around could help because most people had gone back to their hometown and were not in Lhasa. Finally, with good luck we found a hotel room, washing ourselves with hot water. This was an unforgettable Spring Festival. The situation got better and better afterwards. So I didn’t worry about the living condition there anymore. I stayed in Lhasa until July two thousand and seven, then I came back to Chengdu. From then on, I’ve always been in charge of maintenance and engineering of core network.

Q3: What’s the hardest/most difficult in your job?

[Possible Answer]: Let me think. We offer extra technical support except hardware and maintenance. But we usually cannot get the payment for doing this simply because the customers don’t consider it’s worth paying for after-sale technical support.

Q4: Where do you come from?

[Possible Answer]: I was born in Jiamusi, Heinongjiang province. When I was fifteen years old, my family moved to changchun city. So my parents live in Changchun now. And maybe I could say I come from Changchun. But at present, I live in Chengdu.

Q5: Can you describe your hometown?
I really hate/dislike my hometown where my relatives were indifferent and people didn’t care about the others一样愤世嫉俗的言语。

[Possible Answer]: Before I was fifteen years old, I lived in the countryside. The air was fresh and the land was green. Before I went to school, I sometimes took out our ox and gooses in the crop fields. The ox was black. It was very huge, and I was too short to climb on its back. In my childhood, there was a river near our house, so I often played and caught fish in the river once in summer. In winter, I always went skating on the river. So my trousers were often wet. When I was about four years old, a small chick was my favorite animal. One interesting thing was about our chicks. The chicks were very small so that their size was the same as sparrows flying around. I thought chicks could fly, too. So I held a chick in hands and threw it into the air. I hoped it flew. However, to my surprise, the little chick dropped on the floor, dead. So later I understood some birds cannot fly.

Q6: What’s your hobby?

I like sleeping and eating之类100%让面试官反感的语言,即便你确实对睡眠和摄食带来的愉悦感着迷--因为绝大多数人天生都具备这样的属性,没必要强调。

[Possible Answer]: My first hobby is to read books. When I was in high school, my favorite books were about detectives such as “Sherlock Homes”. After I began to work, I became interested in Chinese history, especially in the three-kingdom period and Ming dynasty. These days I’m interested in Chinese ancient culture but just part of it.
Secondly I like listening to the music, something quiet and mild is my favorite. At present most of my free time is spent listening to English songs because I want to improve my spoken English. Speaking is a useful way of exchanging our minds. Meanwhile I do believe it helps to listen to English songs.
My third hobby is to watch movies. I often go to the movies with my wife once a month. I’m often under pressure of work because sometimes I get some urgent cases to deal with and watching movies can temporarily get my mind off work so that I’m relaxed.
Fishing is my favorite sport. I often fish for hours without catching anything. Maybe I am not really interested in fishing but in sitting in a boat and doing nothing at all.
In a word, enjoying our hobbies helps to work better.
